I send my car to the shop who installed the kit we inspectd some hoses looks like everything hoocked up correctly even we we check it the gas cap we couldn't find any more then a small leak in turbo oil feed line and already fixed with new gasket and selant silicon. eveytime I clear the code with Ecutek it com randomly during crusing in afew days later asame code. keepin the dashbored with check engine and TRC Lights on!!:( |
do you have the ecutek boost control that uses the evap solenoid hookup? that's an evaporative emissions code.

if you have mbc that came with fbm kit then you dont have the mbcs that hooks to the evap system to control boost through ecutek
unless they switched. last i heard LJ was using a reg old mbc for boost |

I had the same code after installing my FBM turbo. It went away on its own...

I have the same issue with P0451. It happened after I disconnected the EVAP sensor to try the ECUtek boost control. the only way I got rid of it was by telling my tuner to disable it.
No other way around it so far... |
There is no check valve on the evap system, right? And the evap system is set to open at higher loads (I think) to allow the engine to suck the fumes in. But if the valve open under boost it's possible that the turbo is pressurizing the evap system.
Just my guess. Aaron |

See here for the fix Quote:
Evap system description and test procedure begin on page 1135 of the FRS manual posted on this site. LOTS of good info. In short P0441 is associated with evap stuck, open, evap stuck closed, or a gross leak. My guess is the latter |
Did you ever get this figured out?
|
My guess is something is wrong with one of the vacuum lines for the fuel vent system. I would make sure that all the lines are connected properly from where the metal fuel vent line ends near the quick disconnects for the fuel lines to where the valve gets vacuum from the bottom of the intake manifold. The vent line was probably disconnected during the install of the fuel injectors.
