Are high beams functional with LED DRL foglight bezel
Thinking about buying a pair of these LED DRL fog light bezel, can you still use your high beams after install? My state N.C. requires hi beam. These are southeast Toyota OEM installed. http://toyotaofmcdonoughparts.net/pr...running-lights

Of course... running these should not effect your highbeams at all.

Those are not OEM, those or for sure just "dealer installed" parts.
Trust me, I was the first to have these in the US and @F-T sold them and still does for $200 I believe. I also did the DYI for it. Super easy, but your choice. They keep the OEM high beams. In fact if you only want one set of DRLs I would suggest having the OEM DRLs shut off. Plus these have 3 different options I bet you didnt know they had. -Always on high -Switches from high to low when headlights turn on -Switches from high to off when headlights turn on |

The bulbs are neat! They are like these led projectors from @KI_ZN6 |
Sorry for the silly question. Day one of the FR-S life.
Does this kit / instructions / help with disabling the OEM high-beam DRL? Amazing car. Needs about a week worth of work to get it up to snuff, though :) |
These are wired direct to a power source so they are independent of your drl. You need to buy tech stream to turn the oem drl off yourself or go to the dealer and have it done. Buy them from eBay. I got my set for 110 shipped from Taiwan took 3 days to ship here. All the vendors are selling the exact same item with different stickers. Check some photos on google and compare the details if you're unsure.

The mold cavity numbers are exactly the same for the plastics. The led module numbers are the same. The wiring is exactly the same including all the sticker locations. Unless something is astronomically different inside the control module. I'd say they can't be much different.
