JL Audio StealthBox Owners - Grill Issue
 

The grill on my StealthBox likes to come off - it seems to fit very tightly. Anyone else having this issue?

I have questions in with the company to see if they have a solution or have heard of this from others.

I thought I was the only one having this problem.

My guess is that there is not enough clearance and the sub hits the grill at full excursion. That slim 10 has a surprising xmax.

aha yea... I have this problem... although it may have to do with how the shop installed it... they used a hanger and drilled it into the trunk so that way it could be taken out if I need to use spare tire.... only problem is that the screws come out which means if I hit a hard turn or a hard bump... my sub ends up on its side... which mayb have to do with the grille coming off...

I have it installed correctly and still have access to the spare tire. I can even put the trunk liner back with some effort without removing the sub and box. No issues w the grill
