Somethings lose with the suspension.
 

Basically at 65-70 MPH i get a really harsh vibration when going straight, though when i turn the wheel a little bit it all goes away. Driving around town around 30 MPH i hear something lose/clunking when hitting bumps in the front suspension, and moving the steering wheel left to right when passing the middle creates a noise.

I noticed this after driving a 300 miles straight to Ohio, happened at random and well i drove back with all of this too.

I'm all stock except a Grimm Speed strut tower brace and master brake cylinder brace.

I have yet to take the wheel off. I'm thinking about taking the car to Toyota Friday since i am still under warranty.

Any ideas?

Edit: I should also mention the most important part, the control arm and axle was replaced due to my car being hit, the control arm was bent. No other main suspension parts were replaced.

I'm gonna bet your strut tower brace or brake cyl brace is loose

check your lug nuts

+ one on the brace .

Took all the mods off, they have nothing to do with it.

It's the steering, when i get the vibration on the high way its so exact and precise that i highly doubt it would the dampner or springs.

I'm going to do some more research, if i can at least pin it down to what it can be and i can more comfortable getting it fixed or even fixing it myself if need be.

Bascially i have it down to 4 things.

Ball joints
Tie rod ends
Drag link ends
Bearings

Ball Joints are possible but enough to cause a vibration that shakes the whole car? Also, the clunking i get while driving at low speeds?

Tie rods are a good possibility, drag links as well.

It is also possible that the clunking is a whole other problem.

Bearings as well, but wouldn't it be possible for the vibration to be felt at lower speeds too?

God, so many different questions and no pure answer. Its going to be a long night.

Also have the wheels checked for straightness and possibly rebalance. Vibrations can occur at different speeds and go away.

That is also true, even though re-balanced not long ago, a simple bad bump could offset it.

We live in NY, so never rule out a bent wheel or a weight possibly knocked off.

Update:

Inner tie rod is shot, Toyota is going to replace both sides, under warranty too.

The vibration was fixed with a wheel balance, though the wheel was extremely out of whack, which was odd considering i had one not that long ago.

I'll give a final update once the new tie rods are in, should be next week.

Sounds like ya might have hit something.

Possibly, i'll ask if i can see the old inner tie rod before they throw it out. Might give a clue.

Though only at 25K miles, i'm afraid to what i'll accumulate at 100K. :lol:

Outer tie rod changed, problem fixed.

Most likely from the accident, no one should be worried.

Hey I think i have the same problem as you, was it just the outer tie rod?
