U0115 OBD trouble code

I had this code pop up on me today while trying to use the torque app to show to a friend. The description is "lost communication with instrument panel cluster control module"

The car was just sitting idling when I noticed the engine light and also the traction control light was on. Everything seems to be running normal.

Has anyone had this code happen?

Maybe its the issue that people have had with the OBD2 connectors not being pinned correctly? That causes alot of problems and headaches with people especially when using ecutek tunes.

Not that specific code but I got a U0073 (I think that's what it was) while using the torque app when I shut the car off and restarted it right away with the app still running. Sure its something similar with loss of communication with the ecu. Just clear the code and your good to go.

Thanks was wondering if it was something to do with torque. Haven't used it in a while and it happened while I was using it so I suspected that was the culprit.

It's nothing

Often software looks for modules in car that don't exist, I get similar stuff on ecutek
I wouldn't worry about it
