Brake and Clutch fluid questions

So new guy here and I have a question about the little screen on the brake fluid. Mine has caught some green stuff in it and I was wondering if any of you knew what it was/knew if its a problem. It looks like this http://imgur.com/tGeil1W http://i.imgur.com/tGeil1W.jpg

Also if any one knew how much fluid is needed to do a complete flush of the brake and clutch, sharing that info would be great.

Thanks

Common residue found in brake systems. Pay it no mind.

2-3 bottles of Motul. I always go through 2, but have the third in case I need it. You can get away with 1 bottle with a gravity bleed if you're a conservationist.

I barely used one super blue 1L bottle for both brakes and clutch. Don't know how big the Motul containers are. =P

Is there a diy somewhere for the clutch fluid?

The clutch is really easy, the slave cylinder is on top of the transmission, dead center latterally, and very close to the master. It is no different then bleeding the brakes, except you will have to manually pull the clutch back up.

I changed my brake fluid recently, but then its new to me that there is clutch fluid next to the brake fluid tank.

When should i change the clutch fluid, i presume its break fluid that should be used (dot 4)?

From the picture it looks like the green stuff is before the tank caught by the filter.
