255 fit the x9 perfectly but I think wheel +35 will poke a little. Is it right?

Regarding rear fitment:
From my experience w/ 17x9 +35s & 255s--I had some rubbing in rear on one side. My rear camber was wonky from the factory (-1.3 & -2) & it rubbed on the -1.3 side. I've since corrected that w/ adjustable rear LC arms. My conclusion is that if you have -1.7 or more on both sides in rear, you should be fine. |
I'm running 255/35/17 on 17x9.5 +38 RPF1. I get rubbing on both rears and I'm about the same height in the rear as the red one posted above. I can't hear it when it's happening but you can see the evidence on the tire. I think I'm about -1.8 in the rear. I've got a set of RacerX rear LCA on the way to fix this.
