Ecutek Deltadash data logging advanced functions

I see an option to start logging on wot or to start /stop logging via the defrost button. Anyone have any luck using these functions?

Nope, but I wouldn't mind that. Gets a little dangerous to try and look at the laptop to shut off logging after doing a 3rd gear pull. :D

you can use the insert/delete buttons on your computer - way better than trying to click but the defrost button is neat. I can try it out later on.

delete starts the map access, insert starts/stops datalogs

You could probably even get a USB button of some sort (whether it be a USB Keypad, or maybe something custom and remap using autohotkey)

Yeah that seems a lot more clever then leaning over/looking down at 100 MPH trying to use the damned touchpad :P

Why not just hit the stop button after you'd ummm stopped? There is maybe 20 seconds of log from slowing down and it should be pretty easy for your tuner to tell the difference between WOT and fully closed.

I just stop mine when I stop. Then edit it in excel. Pretty easy. sometimes I do a 3rd gear pull then turn around and do a 4th gear and I split them up after. Either way this seems like a really good option to use the defrost button.
