86 accessories in Tokyo
 

Hi...I'll be in Tokyo this coming December and was hoping to find accessories for my 86 JDM. Ive heard about Super Autobacs. Has anyone been there and do they carry a lot of 86 stuffs? Also other shop recommendations would be nice...thanks.

The closest to the central Tokyo place is a Toyota dealer with Area 86 in Shibuya:

10 min walk from the Shibuya station. Been there but it was closed for the entire week I spent in Tokyo (early May) - only was able to gaze through the window at TRD goodies :)

There is also a huge Toyota showroom in the Palette Town on Odaiba island but you can't buy anything there - I tried. All stuff is just for display. Can check out some fully loaded TRD cars there though. And be prepared that no one speaks a word in English!

alot of super autobacs have trd stuff for sale right now, one close to where i live is damn near has an 86 isle. this car is hugely popular in japan, surprise surprise lol. alot of dealerships you will have to order and wait. some dealers wont deal with you at all unless you show them the title of your car (called shaken) which proves your registration and fees are up to date. super autobacs in yokohama is great, not far from tokyo. i havnt been to one in tokyo yet so i cant comment.

Thanks a lot for the info guys...Ill be staying in Shibuya near the JR Shibuya station. Ive actually been to the Toyota showroom in palette town about 2 years ago and know that they dont sell stuffs there. I hope to find some goodies for my 86 like the sharks fin antenna and tow hook and hope to find that little TRD emblem on the front bumper/lip. Ive attached a picture to give you guys and idea. Hope Autobacs has them.

There's also a Toyota showroom in Ikebukuro. It's about 5 mins away from the station from the west side I believe (if memory serves me correctly)

Toyota could learn from Subaru, Tachikawa Subaru has an english speaking employee there.

Is the Toyota showroom in Ikebukuro the same company as the one in Shibuya? ( Area 86/ Tokyo Toyopet )

That trd emblem comes on the trd bumper. I dont think youll find that.

Yeah these emblems should be available somewhere for these kinds of situations.

Trd bumper emblem is 75314-SP001

is this a parts number for japan or for stateside parts depts?
