staggered wheels question.
I am leaning toward getting a Enkei RPF1 and was wondering if 17x8 and 17x9 (both +45) would cause any issues?
Also, what would you recommend for tire sizes for these fitment? My car will not have any suspension upgrades. Thanks. Other suggestions are welcome. |
Tons of other threads with this question, but why stagger if you don't need to? +45 offset wheels look good in the front and back at the right width. True that with no suspension a 9 inch wheel in front is going to rub on the stock strut/spring ... but if you can afford at least some lowering springs you can squeeze in a 9 inch wide front.

Non staggered tends to poke in the front. I know for me that was the reason I went staggered, for flush front and back. I'm OCD about avoiding pokey tires though, so it may not even register or bother other ppl.
OP, your set-up should be just fine. |
Thanks for the input guys. One more thing... What tire sizes should I look into? should i get same all across?

Staggered rims usually call for staggered tires. I personally went with 225/40/18F and 255/35/18R.
