Routing wire to front doors

Anyone have a special tip to get new speaker wire through the door grommets? The s shape makes them quite difficult. Tried a bent coat hanger with no luck.

add pins to the plugs in the doors on both sides!

Pull both plugs out on each side, scrunch them together to make it shorter and straight, then use a coat hanger or a long screw driver.

is there a trick on how to put back the grommet back on the plastic on the fram of the car? It seems like i have to pull the plastic out a little bit and place it behind it.

The trick is to remove the grommet on car side then the white plastic piece from the car by pressing the tabs in with a screw driver or pick and then putting the rubber grommet back onto the plastic piece. then simply snap back into the door jam. I have ran 14GA speaker wire and 16 gauge alarm wire for door poppers though the loom. Use a hanger going in through the inside of the door to the inside fender with the rubber straightened out and you can feel and bend the hanger as needed.

Pull grommet off both sides, take plastic piece off , use a coax cable and run it in first and fish the wires through .. Coat hanger might damage wires

Also spray some invisible glass on whatever you end up using to run wires through .. It lubricates and dries up so no residue
