Lost power in 1st gear and a bit of 2nd

Ok, just got an Injen SRA and Invidia N1 cat back installed.

First day driving its weird. I feel a big loss of power in 1st and a bit of power loss in 2nd. 3rd and 4th seem decently responsive. And 5th and 6th seem normal.

Is this just a break in situation?

Or is something seriously wrong?

Probably the Injen intake like a lot have seen with it. Check for leaks and tighten anything loose. Reset the ECU and let it learn. This intake seems to be okay once tuned but will run leaner than most.

try resetting the ecu and drive it around some more.

i have the exact same setup as you (just added unichip into the mix this morning). while i didn't notice any issues i would say definitely listen to what folks are saying when they tell you to disconnect the battery.

also... get a tune ;) you won't regret it at all. while im a huge fan of actually flashing the ecu i went with unichip for warranty aspects. hell, i've only had the car about 3 weeks now lol.

I will do a battery pull tomorrow. Question tho. You said an ecu flash can invalidate warranty. Can't I just reflash back if I need to do warranty service?

yup, chances are they will not ever check. but for cases where they do then they would more than likely void your warranty even if it's flashed back to stock (they can tell). i had to go in this morning because they thought mine needed the COW ecm flash. apparently it did not but situations like this could bring on issues. especially if you want the DRL fix.

that being said, unichip is great for that very reason. it doesn't "flash" your ecu and leaves no evidence (footprint) that it was even there.
