Modified Magzine story: AEM intake and ECUTek reflash by OnPoint Dyno
http://www.onpointdyno.com/?p=3119&fb_source=pubv1
The original post about the tune can also be found here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...ght=point+dyno Lots of people have asked me about the tune and recently I gave projectD a ride in my car at the recent PITL Push it to the Limit Autocross and he was mighty impressed. Pick up a copy of Modified Magazine and have a read: http://www.onpointdyno.com/blog/wp-c...ed_scion01.jpg http://www.onpointdyno.com/blog/wp-c...ed_scion02.jpg |
What exhaust are you running? Full header to bumper system?
|
Intake sounds very impressive, but to be honest I would have some concerns about getting an Ecutek tune from someone who had only spent one day at it, vs. Visconti who has been refining tunes for months - especially with the detonation/injector seal issues out there. Love the idea of the autoblip shifting mode though, but Visconti had it for a while in his tune and then took it out later so there may be some issue with it.

Visconti still offers auto blip if you want it, but I think most people were requesting maps without it so he took it out of the "off the shelf" package.
