brz subwoofer install

Well i installed a sub/amp in my brz. Used a line out connection to connect the rc inputs to the amp. Long story short the sub works/amp powers on. But it doesnt beat near as hard as it should. I tuned the amp to where it should be. And it still isnt beating real hard. What am i missing?

Line output converter. On your amp you should have a voltage in setting. Make sure that is on the low setting , should make it a tad better with proper gain settings

does the amp have a switch for line output voltage that says 1-2v or 4-6 v if so put it on 1-2v also what amp is it?

line out converter is your issue need higher voltage line out converter

put a line driver in between the amp and LOC if your amp doesn't have the sensitivity switch by the gains. or if the LOC has Pots turn them up about 75% of the way and then turn the deck up 75% and set those gains to the max unclipped level

Where did you put your LOC? Don't use the rear speakers - they have a high pass filter on them from the head unit. You need to get the signal from the front speakers (these wires are at the amp in the trunk).

i used vampire clips to run the lineout threw the front speakers
