Alignment After Lowering
I just lowered my car about (-1.5 in all around), and I am trying to go in for alignment at a performance alignment shop and am not sure what kind of specs I should need.
RCE TARMACS 2'S 18 X 9.5 +40 57 Extreme Gramlights (all around) 235/40/18 Michelin Pilots Sport 3's From what I read on the forum I should go with -2 camber in front and -1 camber in rear with toes at all zero.. Do I just go into an alignment shop and ask for this...and they should be able to figure out the rest....Any help would be greatly appreciated.. |
Do you have anything to adjust the camber with, i.e. LCA's or Whiteline UCA bushings in the rear? The fronts should be adjustable a bit since they are slotted. If you don't have anything on the rear, you won't be able to adjust anything except toe.
I went with -2* front with 1/32" toe out and -2.3* rear with 1/16" toe in. Your setup may vary depending on what you plan on doing, i.e. DD, track, etc. You want the camber as even as possible right to left and I would suggest at least 1/16" toe in on the rear. |

What do you use your car for? |
It's my DD, but I work from home so it's more of a pleasure/entertainment car for me. I had my alignment guy give me a more aggressive setup based on my driving preferences.
