Advice for a first time modder
 

I am new to modding since the BRZ is my first car. I want to lower the car around 20-30mm but still keep the suspension nice and not feel EVERY bump in the road. I've heard the Eibach Pro Kit works well, but I still want to hear opinions. Thanks!

Rce springs is my advice

IMO you cant go wrong with either eibach, RCE, swift etc. You might want to go with RCE just because of the bump stops, but i chose swift since they're in cali and they have a good rep with STi's.

I'm pretty torn between the Eibach sportlines and the RCE yellows..

i say rce because of the bump stops. It'll save some life on your struts.

RCE Yellow are the best for comfort and performance. I have the Pro-Kit and Sportlines and they are too bouncy and don't handle as well as the RCE Yellows. The Sportlines look the best however but I'm a function > form kind of guy. H&R are very similar to the Eibachs so expect similar return on investment.

I read that the sportlines aren't very bumpy on review threads, how bad is it?

It's not too bad, but noticeable. I'm picky though so you may not notice it as much. Larger bumps are definitely more harsh and noticeable however.

just do Ohlins Road and Track full set up and its butter smooth

RCE is the only company I know of that changes the spring rates to match the roll rates at the lowered height. Everyone else just stiffens the springs a similar amount front and rear. This would be fine on a car with struts front and rear, or multi link front and rear. But that's not the case with this car. Lowering a multi link like in the rear of our cars, helps the roll centre. But lowering a strut suspension makes the roll centre higher, thus requiring the lowering springs to be stiffer then multi link lowering springs all else being equal. Also, this car is very bump stop happy from the factory. Again RCE takes care of this with their spring rates. On top of that, the RCE yellows only lower the car 20 mm. Not much if your main concern is appearance, but if your worred about performance this doesn't cause bump steer issues. Also the spring rates and heights will work well with the stock dampers. I really can't think of a compelling reason to go with any other company for lowering springs.

Even with aftermarket strings and stock shocks you're going to eventually change the shocks...and maybe the springs depending which ones you get.
