Lowered car about 1.25" Adjustable Endlinks needed?

So I was following a thread and believe I have found the culprit of a little annoying sound on my front suspension.

The stock front endlinks have preload on them right now, making the sway bar be out of place.

Now, my question is, with my car lowered about 1.25", do I need adjustable endlinks in the front and the back, or only the front?

I am about to buy the front ones and will install them at the same time as rear LCA's, but don't want to buy them only to find out I need them on the back too.

I went ahead and ordered Whiteline Adjustable front Endlinks. Asked couple of forum members who are lower than me and none required them for the back. Front seems to be required.

Thank you

We are running stock in front and Whiteline in the rear. It would be helpful to run adjustables up front but we don't have any issues.

i cut and welded mine for the fronts because i didnt want to shell out the money nor did i want to wait two weeks for some endlinks to come in. it's been holding up fine with spirited driving. this was a last minute 2am morning thing that we did too

Can someone elaborate on the issue? Trying to figure out what the problem is... I've seen the picture in the other thread but I dont have a clear understanding of what is happening.

when you lower your car, most people have the issue of the endlinks hitting/rubbing onto the control arm when you turn your steering wheel. its very annoying.

That's interesting David. I have 1.4" drop all the way around using OEM end links and Eibach sways front and rear and I have no noises at all. I have seen a thread or two talking about this but not on a 1" drop if I remember.

I posted about this in another thread, but Whiteline has a bunch of universal sizes:

I'm dropped 1" and on the stock endlinks without any issues. Seems to be an isolated few that end up with this issue.

I guess it depends on what Coilovers you get. I know to get my endlinks in place, I needed to FORCE them, because they were way off. I also saw the chasis with some marks from the endlinks rubbing.

Peolpe who only changed colis and not get coilovers, should not worry as the strut is the same. Coilovers are the ones that might have the problem.

It might also be a case of me needing to loosen the sway bar and readjust.

Possibly. I'm on KW V3's. I didn't reinstall the sway bar until I was done installing the coilovers on both sides. I didn't have to force them in either.
