brake pedal doesn't return smoothly

Recently i've noticed that my brake pedal doesn't return all the way smoothly. If i depress the brake pedal hard, it'll return normally most of the way, but the remaining feels like it got stuck on gum or something, stick for a bit and returns. I checked my brake fluid it's fine. Is it a concern? Is it something that i can check myself?

Did you look at the pedals and linkage to make sure nothing is obstructing or binding? Not sure there is much else to check.. Other than the master cyl.. Does it brake fine... Not spongy?

Also check after a drive and make sure your rotors aren't super hot, it could be that one of your calipers is sticking. This happened to my brother with his mustang, he just had to replace a small part. I don't recall what it was, but I remember it was a cheap fix.

I started messing with it and I feel it too. It's probably just roughness in whatever return mechanism is used (spring, vacuum I'm not well versed on modern brake systems) and really only happens after you're on the last ~5% of travel.

I'm not going to worry about it, I'm just going to remove my foot from the brake smoothly and quickly like usual, you don't feel it if you're just driving, you have to play with it to find it.

I'm pretty sure its vacuum not exactly sure but I would check a service manual out.

My Brake pedal got stuck down causing the car to skid out of control. I am waiting for Scion to get back to me.
