fortune 500 didnt go low enough? what now?

Pardon my newb questions. I put my fortune 500 coilovers on and it lowered my front plenty. But i wanna get another .5 of an inch out of the rear. Someone mentioned getting new lower control arms? Or do i need to get a softer spring? Thanks for the help.

PBM is in the works of some LCAs with two different mounting locations for the shock. One is lower than the higher, thus it will drop the height of your car about an inch or so by mounting it in that slot.

Idk if they're for sale yet or if any other LCAs offer something similar.

I doubt a change a spring rates will make any difference at all

a 225/45 is kinda a tall tire, idk if you want to spend the money but if you put a 225/40,35 or 30 on it, it should bring it down a little bit i suppose...Besides stance, Agency power, Cusco, gt works, Megan all make LCA's but idk if they all add more low.

Stance will but I don't remember the number.
Ninja Edit: almost an inch

There's only like 2 companies that I know of that make a 225/40 in a 17". 35 and 30 sidewalls are just nasty looking on 17s. Way too small.

I would say a 215/45 or a 235/40. 45 sidewall is tall with a 225 width but still not taller than people running 18s with 225/40s and are slammed on the ground.

If he wants to go lower, sidewall isn't going to change it that much. He needs different LCAs to move the mounting point lower. Though I don't know what he'll do about the front because if the rear gets lowered another inch from LCAs, the front won't get lowered the same and he car will have reverse rake.

Since the front is already as low as you would like it to go, adding the Stance LCA's will give you the rest of the drop you want. They lower the hub mounting point 25mm(an inch).

Since you only want the rear to go about a half inch lower, simply install the Stance arms and raise your rear coilover ride height until you reach your desired height.

Stance LCA's are in stock, as well.
