Anyone with Eibach Sportlines
I know there are plenty of you guys running the Eibach Sportlines, could you provide any feedback, i.e. if you blew any struts, or if they have been perfect for you.
I know the drop is a little extreme for the stock strut.... Anyways, I'm in the market for some lowering springs (coilovers will come eventually) and I would love to hear your experience with the Sportlines. :thanks: |
I have them fitted to my car. Although it is early days, only about 1000 miles with them, I certainly have no regrets. The ride is just as good as with the standard springs. I also had the wheel alignment re-done after having them fitted.
Here is how my car looks with them: http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/...ps772adf6d.jpg |
Thanks! Great looking car btw.

I have had mine for about a month now and love them. I don't know about anyone else, but the ride is definitely a little more firm and less forgiving with bumps, etc., but nothing extreme. Stock struts still intact

We've had customers with them and they love it as it's just a tad bit more aggressive than stock, but with a nice drop. :)

Will I have any problems with 18x9.5 +44 with 245/40/18 in the rear?
I'm debating on if I should get these or the pro kit. |
Reviving an old thread, but I have a few questions about these.
I'm considering getting the Sportlines because frankly, I'm getting tired of waiting for TRD to release their springs for our cars. Now, I'm 90% sure I won't be getting new wheels or tires when the snow melts like I was planning too but I do want to drop the car a bit. BUT I know dropping the car is going to suck in those wheels and I hate that look so I'm thinking of getting spacers for the stock wheels and tires. What do you recommend? Is it doable with JUST the Sportlines and spacers? Or will I need more things, like camber bolts, LCAs and what not? |

The by the book method is to do springs with camber bolts and camber arms. Can you get away with less? Sure, but you can only make that call. And spacers make everything look better. ;) |

What spacers would you recommend to get them flush with Sportlines? |
