18x7.5 +48/18x8 +43 staggered or 18x8 +43 square?

I'm considering getting new wheels. I have two options for sizing:

1. Square 18x8 +43
2. Staggered 18x7.5 +48/18x8 +43

How our rear fenders jut out a bit further than the front bugs me a little and the staggered setup helps that by pushing the rear wheels 11.35mm further out than the fronts. But the 18x7.5 +48 fronts will look more sunken in if staggered compared to 18x8 +43 square. Opinions? I'm not concerned about the ability to rotate tires and prefer no spacers.

Well you pretty much answered your own question. The staggered would tend to give you some understeer, if that's alright with you (unless you are running same tires front and back - on a 0.5" difference I think you'd get away with it). IMO I'd go square, and if the rears looked wrong I'd go the spacer route.

Thanks for the suggestion. I also realized I can get a square setup with square tires and still make the fitment to the fenders look even between front and back by using camber bolts up front. Did some geometry calculations and -1.5 degree camber will tilt the top of my front tires roughly -8mm in.

Why stagger like that? Go square with narrow wheels. Stagger if you want flush front and rear.

Are you questioning my idea to camber the front? If so, like I said, it's so I can even out the front fitment with the rear, which bugs me a little. And I'd still be running a completely square setup.

And I changed my mind about getting the 18x8 +43 wheels (Prodive GC-07J face style was not what I thought).

Whatever I do get will be square with negative front camber, pretty sure.
