Chirp(cricket)/Shifter TSB Posts

I am posting TSB's below. I wanted to help erase the fear for some of you guys by posting some of our Toyota TSB's on these 2 issues. First off, please understand that the chirping (cricket) noise you may be experience is normal and USUALLY disappears after 10k miles. It annoys us all abit but it definitely won't make me get rid of mine! :) If you continue to replace the pump after the initial job you are basically just reseting the clock on the mileage for the noise.
Secondly, for the shifter issue, the production date at bottom basically states those with that VIN number and below (ex. D1605966 and less) COULD encounter this problem. The # means any number can reside in that spot. DO NOT assume that if your VIN is below the state VIN you will be entitled to a replacement either. The process for us is to check your vehicle for the known symptoms that are pretty easy to replicate. Either way I hope this helps everyone out abit. I like everyone here love the car to so as soon as I see a new TSB I'm usually checking my own vehicle over as well.
