please help a newbie :)
Im planning to buy work emotions cr kai 18x9.5 +38 offset w/ 255/35/18 tires on them. what lowering springs would be the best for me without having to roll my fenders or not having a rubbing issues on any fenders, and not have to adjust my camber please let me know. and by the way how are the tpms sensor gonna work now if I buy/install these sets of wheels? do i have to get customize sensor? or what? thanks

buy the wheels first if you are sure the offset is what you want. Then figure out how low you want to go. Some will let you go insanely low but will limit the amount of travel you have. Others, like the RSR Blacki, and Buddy Club, will let you get pretty low and still have the full suspension range. These can range from 1300 up to 2300. Good luck.

you won't get rubbing from lowering springs because they won't lower you very much I would think.
You might if you lower your car a lot with coilovers. I'v maxed out my FA coilovers in the rear and have gone lower in the front and still no rubbing whatsoever, however the tires you want are wider than my setup. also, my opinion is that lowering springs is a waste of money. spring for coilovers (pun intended) |
RaceCompEngineering springs with Whiteline camber bolts will work nice with those wheels.

so 18x9.5 +38 wont rub, on slight spring drop. i think i read that +38 will clear the spring and strut. but does it poke up front?
