So this is what my car will sound like when I do the header lol

Thanks for the videos, is your front pipe catless or do you have a hfc?

Also, stock over pipe?

NoFear99 05-13-2013 12:28 PM

The HKS front pipe is catless but have 2 resonators onto it.

I also have a third resonator onto the stock exhaust piping before the Greddy axleback.

I still have the stock overpipe.

Sounds sick

Kosmos 06-02-2013 12:40 AM

is it droney?

NoFear99 06-02-2013 01:09 AM

Not inside the car for sure.

May be a tiny bit from outside at low RPM between 2500 to 3500 when I load the engine.

But that's the price to pay if you want the boxer rumble and have to remove the main cat.

I have 3 resonators on my exhaust line so I cannot make anything more than that.

Does it matter order of install? Is a tune required? Recommended first? WHP increase? Total thread derail I know use the search button but please just a quick answer please

Not my cup of tea but congrats on getting the combination you like.

Go with the intake first. My tuner told me that opening the intake will give more hp than the exhaust alone.

Myself I did everything at the same time.

Go with the ecutek tune + intake first then after when you can afford go for the exhaust parts.

Cat-back first.

Headers Second.

Front pipe third.

Just My 2 cents.

You should be good for an extra 25-30 crank HP and a totally new torque curve powerband a lot lot more usable and fun to drive.

Is that tune worth it? I was hoping for 25whp...is that even possible keeping the car NA?

Tujin 06-02-2013 11:10 AM

Love love love the sound with the UEL headers and an exhaust. I need to get another resonator in mine because it is stupid loud (no cats, my catback has a shorter resonator than stock, then the mufflers)

i like your wheels what are they? stock ride height?

If you are running your car with 93-94 octane gas 25whp will be mostly possible with Tune + intake + full exhaust.

Myself I only have acces to 91 octane gas, that's why I'm hoping more toward +20 WHP.
