steering grinding

I took my stock Scion FRS steering wheel off to put on a Sparco one. Everything was un hooked involving the ABS and VSC lights. I went out today to re hook everything back up so the lights would go off. As I take it for a test drive, when I pick up speed and turn a corner, it makes a harsh grinding noise throwing the VSC light, it not only comes on it flashes. Could this be Power Steering?? Wheel bearing?? ABS however isn't coming on.

Either you left the steering angle sensor unplugged, or it needs to have a zero point calibration performed. The sounds is your traction control kicking on because its getting no/inaccurate steering angle values.
