Help determining SCCA Class
I need help figuring out what class my car would run in for SCCA Solo. These are the modifications I have made. Any help would be appreciated.

The springs takes you out of stock class. You should be ok to run STX since a five Axis kit is techinically a dealer installed option. Depending on your region people in the STX class wouldn't care anyway unless you are a top driver. In my region we a have a few fr-ses that have carbon body pieces and wings but I don't make a stink about it because the are still off the pace by 4 secs. Haha
Now if you were to take the car to a national event that's another story. If the kit is illegal you'd know about it before your car left the trailer. Bring some extra double sided 3m tape. |
Thanks. What class would I have to run in at a national?
and for my dumb moment of the day, I don't get the comment about double-sided tape. |

The kit is only held on with double sided tape and I believe a couple of screws. The comment means that you would take off the kit for the duration of the day and then put it back on. |
Gotcha. Like I said, dumb moment of the day. Thanks.

Thanks for the explanation dwx. It will be a long time before I am winning a national event. ;)
