Dash Command App and Oil Temp on iPhone and iPad
As many of you will know you cannot currently add the oil temp PID for the twins to Dash Command to get oil temp to show on an iPad or iPhone.
Best option at the moment is to use Torque on an Android. Not good for iOS users. If you use an iPhone or iPad and want to be able to see oil temp gauge using dash command PLEASE go to the developers Dash Commnd forum and add you voice to the request thread here. http://www.palmerperformance.com/for...pic=6351.0;all They are looking at adding Toyota/Subaru specific sets of data but also other makes. The more of us that request either being able to add specific PIDs or a Toyota/Subaru set the more likely we get to the front of the queue for development. Also a good idea to write an app review of Dash Command and tell them you have voted it down due to no oil temp for the 86 or BRZ. Let's get the FT86 Club to put the pressure on their development team! 86ers are go! . |
Thanks for this!

Won't show on your head unit but will show n your tablet assuming your tablet gas Bluetooth. Have a search for torque app or ELM327 on this forum. Heaps of threads about it. |
Time to wake up this thread - the updated version of Dash Command has been submitted to the app store with FT86 PIDs including oil temp and is awaiting Apple's approval! The update was submitted early this week so it should be approved by early next week.

Special thanks to I think @fisher445 that took his car in for them to test. |
Only had to take it in to them twice for like 20 minutes at a time so not to bad. So hopefully it works out for you guys!

They didn't pass the review and have since corrected it. Going to be sometime next week at this point for the update.
