Assistance on DIY front pipe install.

Hey everyone. I need some help. I have my car up on jack stands and I am attempting to switch out my factory front pipe with an Invidia catless. My questions are as follows:
1. Will I have to remove the fiberglass (looking) shroud that cuts around the resonator in the stock front pipe.
2. Will I have to remove the metal shroud surrounding the bolts for the front pipe connecting to the overpipe/header?
and 3. Should the bolts connecting the front pipe to the header be hard as F*CK to get off? I have the rest of it unbolted but those two in the front are being little pricks and are resisting my man-handling.

P.S. I lift.

1. Maybe, i depends if you can reach the bolts, Possibly not.
2.. No,
3. Yes its hard as fuck to remove the overpipe. You need to remove the alluminum plate as well, unbolt the 2 engine mounts and jack up your engine as well. Check out a DIY Header Install thread to get the full details.

No need to unbolt engine mounts or anything like that.

"With the crosspipe shields removed, the crosspipe has room to be snaked out. It’ll take some trial and error, but trust me, it’ll come out. You’re going to want to pull back and up on the pipe while turning it slightly counterclockwise."
