Spark Plug Broken : CEL P0301 C1201 and U0100

I have 15000 mi on my car. The CEL and Traction control light are both on this morning ans it shows CEL P0301 C1201 and U010. Anyone experiences this? The car run very rough and no power.

The P0301 is a misfire in #1 cylinder. That's why your car is running rough. The other codes are likely there because of the P0301. Take it to your dealer and let them diagnose it (hopefully you're still under warranty).

It is spark plug issue. At this moment, I still do not know the cause of damage.
The spark plug looks very bad. My car has only 15000mi.

Yea the plug shouldn't be broken like that.

Wow.... Hope they figure this out. Keep us posted!

Main concern #1: Where is the missing metal from the spark plug. Did they find it or did it fall into the combustion chamber, and how much damage did it do in there.

Main concern #2: Why did the spark plug break like that in the first place.

Question: do you have any modifications, a tune, anything?

Are those stock spark plugs? What brand are those?

The metal from the plugs might just have arced away and not caused any damage.
Was the engine lifted and slid forward to remove the plugs?

I could not find missing metal. After I replaced the plugs, the engineruns okay. I have 2.5" mid pipe on.

No lifted or slid need. You just need 3/8" tool set.

They are stock. I replaced them with HKS M45HL because I do not have other options.

No lift to get the plugs out - now that is good news!

Glad it was a simple fix!

Can you do a DIY to remove spark plugs without lift/slide the engine? If you can do that i'm sure a lot of people would be appreciated!
