What's the Purpose of WL Com C Top Mounts?

If you are running camber bolts already do they increase the amount of neg camb that you can run?

Do you continue to use your camber bolts with them?

What's the max neg camber that they allow?

Do they raise the front of the car like many camber plates do?

Are there any negatives to running them?

Thanks!

They change camber by -0.5 and add +0.75 of caster. They had some issues with the initial batch but they seem to have it handled now. When you add camber bolts you can run -4 or -5. Not that it would be advisable in most cases, but you could. I plan on running them...

They don't raise the car. The give you more negative camber without bolts and more tire clearance because you don't tilt the tire closer to the spring like you do with bolts. They also add caster. I run them on my car, and I sell them too. I have KW's which have slotted holes so no camber bolts are needed to get a LOT of camber.

Yes, if you add them to bolts you can increase your camber that much more. I'd say they add an easy 1 degree based on the fact that between the KW slots and the mounts I can get -3 or more.

You CAN

I dunno, 2.5 from myplates and almost another degree from bolts?

I dunno, I run GC, & they do not

I'm curious too, they are rubber rite?

Thanks!

It is not a camber plate, it is a top mount just like the stock one, except that it is made with stiffer rubber and the bearing is offset to gain you some camber and caster. You'll still need to adjust camber at the strut.

woah, all those posts happened fast.

I have them and camber bolts. I can't get more than -2.2degrees. No way you'll see 4 or 5 degrees.

Mine finally started making noise. Oh well.

The adds say -5... :iono:

Do you have the most updated version? What kind of noise are they making? I don't like the sound of this...

Mine are older. If they add -.5 camber plus the -1 to -1.5 for the bolts that's nowhere near -4 to -5. Noise is due to the lack of a conical washer.

Hello,

Is it required to use a conical washer with recent com-c?

Not sure.

Aside from bearing issues, in the older plates the rubber used to separate from the hat itself. QC on them hasn't been very good from what I've seen.
