Eibach springs
 
Hey, so if i lower my car with the Eibach Pro kit springs (1inch) do i have to realign/adjust anything?

It's a mild drop, I'd get it aligned at least it might change the toe value off.

so can i go to like any shop and ask them to realign my car? and on average do you know much that would cost?

Depending on the shop alignments can run $75-110 all depends on the place. Good idea to get camber bolts and camber bushings as well just in case.

um i'm new at this so why would i NEED the camber bolts and bushings?

Chamber bolts will give you adjustability if you NEED it for after market rims.

Same question here. Still a newbie at this. If i followed it correctly, in dropping the car with Eibach Pro kit springs (1 inch), i should also buy and install camber bolts and bushings, then send my car to a shop and have it aligned. Would that be all as far as the suspension is concerned?

Is the said lowering spring compatible with the stock strut? Or should i expect it to wear down fast?

The bushings and bolts are always a good idea, but perhaps not a requirement to get the alignment "within spec", but if you were wanting the camber bolts and bushings, it would be the best time to install them for sure.

With any aftermarket spring a bit more wear and stress on the strut is to be expected, but being that these springs have a mild bump in spring rate and drop, I would not expect any more noticeable wear on the struts.

Do you need to buy a new set of bushings when getting front camber bolts or can you get away with just the bolts themselves? And are rear control arms worth spending money on for such a short drop or would they be fine left alone? I have the same springs. (not trying to thread jack)

I had the Sportline Springs installed.

The shop was able to align the front without using aftermarket parts. However, the rear camber has no factory adjustment and will be out of spec with a drop. FWIW, most who go for the dropped look like some additional camber because it looks "JDM, yo!"

If you are okay with the camber on the car, then there is no need for any bolts or bushings, however if you are trying to change the camber, then going with the bolt, rear bushings or even the rear control arms may be the way to go. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but when we got an alignment after the Eibach springs, the numbers were not too far from factory, but it really comes down to personal preference and how you want the car to feel or look.

How many degrees of rear camber?
