KW V3 coil over hiccup. Any suggestions?
So I just slapped a set of kw v3 coilovers on. After going on it had a really positive chamber and the front had bolts to adjust so I got those 0d out. The rear however didn't have the chamber bolt only the toe my mechanic said. How did others deal with this?

You need either the Whiteline rear camber adjustment bushings or a set of adjustable rear lower control arms.
When you say 0d out, you don't literally mean you're running 0 camber up front do you? - Andrew |
You do not want to run 0 degree camber. You want a slightly negative camber.
Camber. Not chamber. |

Thanks for all of the quick responses. I don't think he went full 0. It was just waaaaaaaay positive so I meant it only in terms of comparison..

i thought there is no stock camber adjustment upfront unless you have camber plate mounts? or am I just stupid lol :bonk:
|
I think the plate mounts may just be for increased adjustment. Don't take my word for it.

Camber plates are another solution that can be used in conjunction with the crash bolts. |
any one know if 08+ sti rear tophats will fit the v3's/brz?
|
Cheapest solution for the rears are the camber bolts by H&R. 112's I think. Get in touch with @PERRIN_Chris and he will get you dialed in.

the rear has no adjustment...IDK what ^ he is talking about you can't just put a bolt in like the front. you'd need adjustable control arms or adjustable bushing for the control arms.
i'll be running cusco adjustable lower control arms. |
@Jive Turkey - I have them installed in my FR-S and so do a few others.

I ordered the Cusco control arms as well.

2 Attachment(s)
Less than $50 for the H&R bolts
Bolt goes in the LCA to subframe connection point (see shiny bolt on the left) Attachment 30842 Attachment 30843 Sorry for crappy cell phone pics but since being told it wasn't possible thought I should crawl under the car real quick and just show you. If you going to track your car and be constantly changing your camber drop the $400 plus for adjustable LCA's. If not, spend $50 and set and forget about it. http://www.perrinperformance.com/p/1487 |
