Great job this weekend! I need to get a ride in that thing again soon!!

Had a great time my first time out at Auto Club, thanks to you and Mike for all the tips.

BTW, check out the non-A/C belt routing:

thx that thing is supercharged!
anyone have a NA no ac belt routing diagram or parts list?

03Z33 02-25-2013 12:07 AM

Yeah, that's the TRD Japan "kit" on the Stout Racing FR-S supposedly. Looks like they just run an idler in place of the A/C compressor.

robispec 02-25-2013 12:26 AM

but the ship these cars with no ac...why is it so secret?

CSG Mike 02-25-2013 12:52 PM

Not triplet related, but still fun, because it's ACS. In-car video from one of my student's cars.

@CSG Mike - is that really just a friction mount holding the GPS puck in place. I've got the same GPS and have been considering mounting options (current plan was to use velcro tape and mount it to one of the plastic covers for the child seat attachment on the back window tray).

It is. Had zero issues with it all day, and the GT-R generates over 2G cornering force in the banking (with OEM Dunlops!). Just make sure it has a clear view of the sky.

One thing that's important, is to make sure that the surface it's on is clean. Free of dust, etc. Use a damp microfiber, or whatever lint-free cloth of your choice. Otherwise, it won't stick...
