Has anyone fitted a thicker OEM rear bar yet from another Subaru?
Hi all
I've heard thoughts/comments/statements/myths about other OEM Subaru bars fitting the rear of the GT86/BRZ. 1) Have you done it? 2) What bushes did you use? :thanks: edit: Got part numbers for the three OEM rear bars from Subaru: Subaru Impreza 2007- Parts Description WRX (16mm) STI (18mm) STI (19mm) Qty Rear Anti-Roll Bar 20451FG000 20451FG010 20451FG020 1 Rear ARB Bushing 20464FG000 20464FG010 20464FG020 2 Rear ARB Clamp 20466FG000 20466FG000 20466FG000 2 Rear ARM Clamp Bolt 901000303 901000303 901000303 2 |

Are the WRX/STi rear bars direct drop ins or do you need to find different end links that'll work, and other brackets?

Our end links are the same as theirs. Buy bar, buy correct bushings, fit to car, enjoy. |
Just be careful. If you don't upgrade the front bar as well, you are going to make the car very tail happy.

That's right.

I'd suggest some stickier tires. If traction is your issue, that is your best bet to solve it. |
Does anyone happen to have the part number for the 16mm rear bar that'll fit and the associated bushings? Thanks.

Assumming the front is zn6 specific...

We are running a 2011 wrx rear bar on our car with stock front, RCE springs, Koni struts/shocks, and AST camber plates. No issues with the car being too tail happy and that is with -3* of negative camber in the front and -1.8* rear with only .1* total toe in rear.

I'm amazed at how widely varied the opinions on sway bar sizing is with this car.
