Update on AP Stillen BBK Large Photos
My Stillen BBK showed up today I could not wait to get it installed, So I left the office early and got a jump on the install. In total the install took me 4 hrs including a break for dinner and Bleeding the brakes.
Kit came with Loctite all metric hardware this is nice when building a Japanese car and all of a suden your looking for a 1/2 wrench I hate that. Instructions were easy to read and to the point. I will note that I did install the Bracket backwards at first. Rotors came installed to the hats and ready to install. Here are some photos including a scale test I did. Please note that the Scale weight was with the PADS installed. Ive seen other weight's without the pads. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...psceb0b925.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps49f933ee.jpg Here are the Scale photos for People curious on the Weight. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...psdb285b37.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps58eefb42.jpg One thing to note here is the Stillen hat decreases the Offset. This pushes the Wheel out more than the Stock Rotor. Here is the Measurements Stock Rotor Thickness http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...pse9204a11.jpg Stillen Rotor Thickness http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps5d62ecda.jpg |
is this any different from the AP Essex Sprint kit? or are they essentially the same?
