Whiteline 20mm front bar

I installed the Whiteline 20mm front sway bar and end links.

Remove bottom covers

and a clip on the side

Then remove the two frame supports that hold the bar.

Remove the brackets that hold the bar on, instal them on the new bar bushings, remove the nuts holding the end links to the struts, and install evrything in reverse.

It weighs 1.8lbs more total then the stock parts.

Looks good. I've got the same one on my car. Made a nice difference along with the RCE springs I put on at the same time.

Question, where did you put the washers on the lower endlink mount to the swaybar? I got the Whiteline adjustable ones and the directions were kinda vague. I initially had the washers between the endlink and the bar, with just the nut on the outside. This configuration had problems as the movement would loosen the nut on the driver's side. After about 2 weeks of re-tightening the nut after hearing noises from the front end I moved the washer to the other side of the swaybar behind the nut. No issues so far in this configuration.

I have the washer on the link side of the bar. I guess that I will have to keep an eye on it. The nuts have plastic in the end to help from coming loose.

Yep. The nuts that I used were nylock too. Mine was making a clunking sound as the suspension articulated through what I think as the zero load point. Let me/us know if you experience this please.

Handling impressions? What's your setup?

Thanks for the post! I have a feeling this will come in handy when I'm installing mine next weekend.

My normal setup is KW V 3's, Dunlop ZII's in 255's, -4 camber front -2.5 rear.

Right now for the winter I have the stock suspension and tires on, I didn't get a chance to see how it handles with the snow/ crap on the roads.

I've had the Whiteline bar installed as well and the washers were installed on the link side of the bar. I didn't have any problems with those nuts coming loose at all.

I have the Strano bar installed now, I think it's somewhere in the middle of the two settings on the Whiteline bar. I'm still using the WL endlinks with the Strano bar with the same washers/nuts and nothing has come loose after several weeks.

Any opinions on this yet? I put mine in a few weeks ago, but haven't had a chance to drive the car hard enough to tell. Weather in the Midwest and all...

No need to support the engine once those support mounts are removed?

The engine doesn't sit on those brackets. Those brackets exist solely for the anti-roll bars.

Indeed, usually engines are supported by strange off worldly objects known to many as "motor mounts". They tend to be made of unobtanium as well.
