DIY > Adding cargo net to trunk

Had the FRS for a week. One thing I've noticed is that anything in the trunk tending to slide around on the OEM trunk floor (I do not have the carpeted mat).

Installed a Bell Cargo Net today.... took about 20 minutes.

Kit comes with nice net and four knobs with screw-in mounting hardware.

The four corners of the OEM trunk floor flip-up, so I decided to mount the knobs just inside of the "wings".

Note: When the net is stretched, this does put tension on the mounting knobs closest to the trunk lid (rear). I used some heavy duty industrial Velcro at the two corners to keep the wings from pulling up.

This will do for now.. until I decide what to do "long term" for the trunk.

Edit: Put the OEM trunk mat in - fit fine with net installed

I just bought a roll of black non-skid cabinet/rug liner at Kroger. Works like a champ. :)
