Ecutek Map Access, data logging Vs. obd2 sensor
 

Ecutek Map Access, data logging Vs. obd2 sensor with iOS app....are they essentially the same thing for reading data on the fly?

Is there an ecutek software version ported over as an iOS app? My understanding is you still need to run a windows emulator since the ecutek software is winos based.

Actually, if your iOS device doesn't have a USB isnt your only choice a bt obd2 dongle? Not even sure how that would work and all that latency ...

let me expain that better. windows laptop with cable or a wireless OBD2 sensor that links to iOS using this sensor

I have what you are looking for and it is listed in the classifieds section here. Uses wifi to sync up with iPhone/Itouch. Make me a reasonable offer. I don't have an iphone anymore...

Just re-read your message. You may want to PM one of the Pro-tuners with your question (FA20Club, Visconti, Perrin, etc...) It's all the same data however the amount of data and format is different. If you look at some of the more expensive setups that use the OT-2 Wideband sensors then one (me) could speculate that more data could be available to the OT-2. The bigger question may be "Why you want the data" vs "What data is present". Once one of the tuners know why then they may be able to address your question more accurately.
