TPMS warning light

Reset tire pressure, then drive it for a bit. TPMS will go off. Common problem when temp drops.

Yup, its not that the cold is tripping up the sensor, but rather the cold is actually lowering the pressure in the tire. The TPMS only has just a few psi threshold before it goes off, so make sure its right around the amount of pressure that the tire asks for, and then drive it around to make it switch off.

Not sure. I haven't actually checked mine yet. Only had it for a month! It should say on the inside of your door what the stock tires recommended pressure is.

Yea, that's what I meant - the cold temps have lowered the tire pressures. What is the recommended psi for stock tires? The sidewalls have a limit of 51psi. I've always ran 30 - 35 psi.

it says it on the side of the door once you open it

shishand 12-30-2012 07:24 PM

35psi is the recommended pressure

If you have the US standard FR-S with Michelin Primacy HP summer tires, the door says 35 psi.
