intake piping + drop-in air filter
Alright so after doing a bit of reading around ive come to the conclusion that buying a drop-in filter and intake piping is better than buying a whole new intake. with that said, i was looking into WORKS' new high-flow filter and zeta's or perrins silicone piping and i was wondering if that would negatively affect anything without me having to get a tune

You shouldn't have to do anything. I will be running the same set up here in a week or so as soon as I get everything from @ZetaPerformance including the radiator kit. I might just reset my ECU after its all put together.
Tune wise might be able to tinker with the higher airflow |

I'm running Zeta Intake and Perrin filter.. I just cannot believe 10hp from a filter so I went with the brand i felt most comfortable with.
Zeta's stuffs top notch, install was a breeze and worth it imo. |

Installed the Zeta filter on stock set up. Nice change according to my ears and the butt dyno. Awaiting to install the Perrin silicon intake by weeks end.

This setup definitely seems like the best bang for your buck. Any idea how a drop in filter + high flow tube will work with ECUtek stage 2 tune (vs a whole new intake)?

I don't have any experience with Injen, AFE, Airraid, etc but would recommend the Perrin tube and filter. I think they offer the majority of the gains you would see with any of those but it's cheaper and super easy to install. |
