Check engine light now on at 2995 miles
 

Yesterday I stopped at a traffic light and when it turned green, I started to go. When I first started moving the car hesitated for about half a second, then the check engine light, wheel slip light, and the cruise control "on" light changed from green to yellow. The car now runs fine, but lacks power. There is no difference in power and acceleration between 1/4 or full throttle. If I push the peddle past halfway it's like the engine just bogs down. The cruise control also does not work. I stopped by the dealer and they told me to drop it off on Monday. Also, ever since my car was new I have had a strong odor of burning motor oil. A few times there has even been smoke coming out from under the hood. I had taken it to the dealer when I first noticed this, but the dealer said they could not find anything. I wonder if its related. Anyway, wish me luck. Lol

Ok so the dealer said they are going to flash the ECU. Only will be in the shop for two days.
