Problem with Skirt Lip Part# ST960204S291

So i decided to order the STI front under spoiler part# ST96020AS000 and took Japanparts.com recommendation of also ordering the Skirt Lip Part# ST960204S291. After installing the under spoiler i attempted to put the skirt lip on and found out that the pre drilled holes do not match up. I have not heard anything from japanparts.com, but I'm not sure if they are ignoring my emails or my ISP is just blocking their emails cause they're from Japan. I even had the local dealership take a look at it and all they said was that since I ordered it from Japan it's probably made to only fit the Japanese version http://www.htcflyerforum.net/images/...s/confused.png Anyways looks like I just lost $160 http://www.htcflyerforum.net/images/smilies/frown.png

UPDATE: Well I finally got some info on this and I was told to treat this as a "universal part" and I had to "make it fit" So i took another shot and took pics of a couple problems I ran into.

So after cleaning and preping the bottom of the under spoiler I removed the double sided tape cover a section at a time while pressing it to the under spoiler. First prob I encountered was the two points on the spoiler caused the skirt not to lay flat and made humps.

So i took a razor and cut small pieces out of the hump to get that part of the skirt to lay flat. After I got the skirt situated I used a razor again to cut off the excess length of the skirt

I chose not to drill any holes in the under spoiler since it cost me almost $700 and I didn't want to take a chance of damaging it. So here is a look at what i ended up with

So what's wrong with drilling some?

Have you had any problems with it coming off when you rub things since you chose not to drill any holes in the under spoiler?
