Stock wheel offset vs +38 in the rear
I hated the sucked in look on the rear wheels. So 10mm spacers and longer studs were in order. It was a hell of a modification labor wise and I think with the stock wheels you may want something closer to a 15mm spacer. I stuck with 10mm with the assumption I'll be going with a 17x8 +38 offset square in the future. This will give me aggressive stance without having to run staggered. And for track days I can quickly pull out the spacer and run stock offset with open ended lugs.
The spacers are hub-centric and I only suggest you use hub-centric spacers for safety. A DIY for replacing the rear studs is coming soon, we documented the process on my car for you folks. First three pictures are stock rear offset, the rest are with a 10mm spacer. It's hard to capture the difference since it's subtle but it definitely looks better. http://i.imgur.com/NH7a9.jpg http://i.imgur.com/84NvP.jpg http://i.imgur.com/z5cnA.jpg Below is 10mm spacer http://i.imgur.com/MCcs0.jpg http://i.imgur.com/F7qK9.jpg http://i.imgur.com/JQswz.jpg |
