After market alarm
I see a bunch of threads on alarms but died off. Got a good deal on a Clifford with remote start and a bunch of sensors. Anyone install these yourself?

I put an Automate AM1 on my car which allowed me to retain the factory key fob and just add an alarm with a shock sensor.
A few months ago my shop installed a keyless entry and keyless start on an FR-S. Pretty straight forward install only downside is wire colors and info can be hard to find but a lot of it is listed on here. |
I'll look for those diagrams

I just had a vipor alarm and remote start put on mine and the place I took it to cannot get the car to start. They have to tow it to the dealer in the morning. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem or would know what caused it. They did have to use one of my keys.

Wonder if they did something wrong with the clutch bypass. Does the engine turn at all?

It's an automatic. They said they started it 4 different times and then they started it to leave it running for 26 min and it shut itself off and won't turn back on.

Any update on this

Unfortunately when it got to the dealership Saturday no one could look at it and Sunday they were closed so today I'm waiting to hear something. The place that installed the remote start and alarm did say they unhooked it and the car still wouldn't start so I'm hoping the car just thinks it was being stolen and that this is an easy fix.

I just got my car back and thankfully the dealer found out they didn't have the passengers side plugged in all the way.

They said it was one of the plugs on the passengers side. I just figured it was from the alarm. When they rechecked it it looked plugged in but the dealership found it wasn't plugged in all the way.
