switchback LED assistance
I recently picked up some switchback LEDs to try out from DDM and I'm having a bit of trouble. There is a resistor wired into each. If I fire up the lights, the 'white' works perfectly fine. If the lights are off, the amber turn signal function works perfectly fine.
However, if I have the lights on (white) and use the passenger side blinker, the LED will flash amber once and turn completely off. Driver side, I can use the blinker normally for one attempt, however if I turn off the blinker and start it again, it will blink amber once and turn completely off. If I turn the lights off and back on it once again will work. Any ideas? |
For LED indicators, you should use a replacement flasher relay that is suited to LED's. Not sure who supplies them in your country.
In OZ, Narva make them. |
After a bit of research, it appears to be a common problem with their bulbs. Looks like I'll send them back.
