Here's a teaser pic for now. It's 2.5" stainless, mandrel bends, 4" rolled tips. The goal was to make it simple. So it's just shy of 6' of straight pipe from the flange to the y-pipe. Then two 9" degree bends, some straights, followed by two 30 degree bends to get the tips out straight. It's all one piece so I didn't have to mess with leaking gaskets. May add a vband in the future. As well as a muffler cause its loud. lol. What do you think? Does it look like every other exhaust?

I'll get some sounds clips tomorrow. Just hope I can figure how to upload them! lol.

This one has about $200 in materials with no muffler or middle flange, and low quality tips. Took me about two 5-6 hour days or so to build. It takes me some extra time as I do this in my garage with a jack...and it's all TIG welded.

Realistically, I expect to have around $300-$350 in material costs to get it where I want it.

My goal was simple, light, and cost effective. I'm not a fan of all the exhausts that run two extra resonators before the tips. It clutters it up too much for my liking, and can look a little bulky.

I wish you were closer, I'd have you fab me up something.

Yes please.

Im liking the simple design, really curious to hear it especially with no resonator or mufflers. I think the single wall tips the you have on the axleback look better though.

I'll get sound clips for both tonight.

The axle back needs some tweaking before I will be happy with it.

To Do:

Polish catback (raw piping is kinda ugly)
Polish tips on axle back
Fix angle on passenger axle back tip
Shorten passenger hanger on catback
Increase slack cut angle on axle back tips to get flush with bumper

Any other suggestions?

I've now added an inline muffler since this video & picture. Still overall same sound as what it's like in the video. Just less crackly.

Damn! Nice....is it just me, or the passenger side looks shorter? I know that you mentioned a few things on your to do list, but it didn't correlate to the length of the passenger side exhaust tip. Either way, very interested in the end results. Hell, i'll take an un-polished one to save ya the labor hours. :party0030:

Dude for real, that is exactly what I would make for myself.

I like it. Nice job.
