We installed springs yesterday that i got from Chris here at TiTAN Performance along with OEM camber bolts and my HID kit from TheRetroFitSource.com. I will post another thread on that in the coming days but i have to say these springs are great, excellent ride and took away some of the twitchy feeling the car had with just the wheels and i actually haven't even had it aligned yet because the car wasn't in our alignment machines software, we should be able to update it tomorrow and take care of that. I'm very impressed and even though i wanted KW V3's these will keep me happy for a long time. I'm going to add the SRT front strut bar because it fits with the Crawford AOS but i think the stance is perfect hope you guys agree.

do u still need the alignment from the new wheels or do u need to do 1 when u install new springs?

JoeBoxer 10-01-2012 03:11 AM

Alignment after springs, we would have done it but apparantly our Hunter rep didn't update our alignment machine properly. I'm sure it needs it but i drove a hundred miles today easy and it didn't even really feel neccessary but it will be done of course.

i also did the H-tech with OEM camber bolts. Agree on the ride quality. It's not too low, it's more like way our sports car should have come from the factory.

Looks awesome Joe. I'm glad you kept them!

They give you some adjustment so you can get some negative camber, I would recommend them even without a drop actually. I am running a pretty wide front wheel so the negative camber also keeps them from poking out too much too.

So with the drop from h tech, do I need to adjust the rear camber...is it necessary or alignment would just be find..and if i do, what would be my option

My camber was over 1 degree more negative on the right rear than the left after installing these springs. This will vary on a car by car basis though i'm pretty sure mine was out of spec from the factory. You can get the Whiteline rear camber bushing($150) or an adjustable rear lower control arm which is what i got from SPC($280). The lower control arm is much easier to install and adjust but you have to pay twice as much.

digital assassin is running some H&R camber bolts in the rear but i'm not sure what was required to set it up in this way, nobody else seems to be running that.

Have these settled any lower since first installing them?
