FRS door speaker vibration?
 

I have had my frs for about 2 weeks and don't abuse the stereo but am getting vibrations from the spoor speakers even at low volumes.....anyone else having the issue? Guess i need to upgrade to better speakers already? Uggggg

i was wondering if i was the only one hearing this!

It's probably the panel itself or something mounted to it as opposed to the speaker.

My passenger side sub does that vibration..I put a sweatshirt in the little cubby thing in the door and it went away.

Plus it's getting colder, so I always have a hoodie. ^_^

I went through the long painstaking process of figuring out why the door panel rattled and how to fix it. In short, both door panels have no insulation in them, and the low frequencies out of the speaker cause the panel to rattle. I dynomatted the door sheet metal as well as the door panel itself. It helped, but there was still some rattle. Then I stuffed an old t shirt in the holders in the doors and the rattles stopped completely.

My first step, if I were you, is to stuff an old t shirt in the holders and see if it fixes it enough for you to be comfortable with. If not, dynomat the doors and it'll get a bit better. Bass will sound punchier. But it will cost you time and effort and probably $200 in dynomat. Don't be intimidated by taking the door panel off, it is incredibly easy.

Ugh I hate that freakin rattle too!! It drives me crazy! Thanks Lefty for the advice.

Well they're subwoofers in the door believe it or not. It's just bass coming out of them. I wasn't satisfied until I got rid of them as woofers and put in mids. Couldn't stand the vibration!

I'm getting the door rattle as well. I've read in the forum it is the window switches that's the issue. Is the anyway to fix the rattle that doesn't require removing the door panels?
