Titanium Exhaust
 

Hi everyone,

Just curious, other than being lighter than other aftermarket stainless steel exhausts, do the titanium exhausts actually produce a better or deeper note? Or is the price you pay all in the weight reduction?

Titanium exhausts usually have thinner walls so you get a "dry race" exhaust note. I have a full titanium exhaust on my GDB and that thing just echoes. I want to get the Tommy Kaira titanium exhaust for my ZC6.

Ok, so if it just echoes, why do you want another one?

There is one china made titanium exhaust for $1,500 but its axle back and weighs about 6kgs.

I like the weight savings and I meant it echoes in a good way. A true titanium exhaust has its very own unique sound note. :thumbsup:

It only saves weight if it doesn't have a crazy amount of unnecessary convoluted piping and 14 mufflers with Helmholtz resonators like the few I've seen on here so far.
