Reverse light to rain light?
Is there an aftermarket company that sells a reverse light that acts as a rain light for race application?
I looked around and only found some places that convert it into a brake light. Hopefully plug and play with an ON/OFF switch. |
At least on my 2016, if you look under you will see that a spot is molded into the lower light for bulb installation however it’s not open. I drilled/dremelled it out and installed a bulb socket and led bulb from a local auto parts store.
Mine is wired to a brake flasher module but you could easily wire it to a switch and a 12v source. Or wire it to the taillights with a switch in the tire well as you’ll likely be using full lighting at the same time. Good luck. |
Thanks!
Never really looked under there, if nothing is available off the shelf I am sure I can Macgyver something. On a different note... do you do any track days at Mosport, would love to take a look at your car, thinking of boosting it too. |
We track at TMP and Grand Bend since moving to Chatham from Burlington. My Burlington Bud has a 2010 Miata. We haven’t been out yet this season. He has a new job and I had hand surgery in April which has me still on the mend.
